The open, well-lit kitchen had plenty of high-quality dishes, cookware and utensils, and the unadvertised extra pantry with 2nd refrigerator was a welcome surprise for the cooks! We made good use of the huge dining table for family board games, and when we entertained visiting relatives from Ohio there was plenty of room for a total of 21 people for dinner. The grandkids enjoyed the game room, and they loved the large pool! There are multiple back decks with good views of the pool below and of the ocean with lifeguarded beach near Jennette's Pier, just a short walk away. (The pier is open for night-fishing, and our dads and sons took the opportunity to make a memory by catching a skate!) A favorite family highlight was watching a spectacular lightning storm over the sound from the front deck off the dining room. We appreciated the personal contact with the owner, both through the rental process and in meeting our needs during our visit. We would definitely rent this house again."
