This home is located between the beach and the village, with a short walk to the beach on one side and a short walk to the center of town on the other side. It is the perfect place to enjoy a fun and relaxing vacation with the family and the dog while having a variety of options for activities. DuckAway boasts a lagoon-style swimming pool (approximately 26'x12), a large hot tub, a spacious house with many amenities, a wonderful beach, and the fun Town of Duck with shops, restaurants, soundfront boardwalk, park, and other activities.DuckAway is located a short three-block walk from the neighborhood beach access with a view of the ocean from the top level. It is on quiet Poteskeet Drive, which is a central street leading into the center of the Village of Duck and the nearby acclaimed shops and restaurants along Duck Road. Poteskeet Drive also leads directly into the Duck Park on the Sound, which hosts many scheduled summer entertainments, the Fall Duck Jazz Festival, and the Town’s extensive soundfront boardwalk.On the ground level, DuckAway has a lagoon-style pool with salt chlorination and pool lights, a poolside hot tub, a large airy outdoor shower, a grilling area, and a backyard with a lawn. Most of the lower level of the house is enclosed and includes a large recreation room with smart TV, DVD, and various games and puzzles. The lower level also includes a bathroom, a utility room with a washer and dryer, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The mid-level consists of three king bedrooms, one single and double bedroom, and two bathrooms. Each of the four bedrooms has a smart TV, DVD, ceiling fan, and memory foam mattresses. Three bedrooms have doors leading out to the mid-level deck. The top level features an updated kitchen with extensive countertops and cabinets, including a pantry cabinet for your provisions, a dining area, and a great room with two sliding door sets leading out to the deck. There is also a king bedroom with smart TV, DVD, ceiling fan, memory foam mattress, and a door to the deck, and a bathroom. The great room has a large smart TV, Blu-ray player, a stereo with CD and Bluetooth connectivity, and a ceiling fan.For your convenience, this home provides sheets and towels. The private pool is available from mid-April to mid-October with optional seasonal pool heating for $100 per week.
